How difficult is it to install
your Tail Light Covers?
The easiest way to answer this questions is for you to watch our
installation video at the bottom of this page. Installing precut
Tail Light cover film kits can be significantly easier and less time
consuming than installing film by the roll, it can still be a difficult
process.
> Installation difficulty depends on the
ability of the installer.
> If the Tail Light has complex curves, protrusions or is compounded.
> If the proper installation tools and fluids are used.
> If the installer is familiar with heat stretching film.
What is the difference
between Tint, Protection and Blackout Tail Light Covers?
Tint, Protection and Blackout Tail Light covers are both designed
to change the color of the lens, without greatly changing the
output color.
> Tint & Blackout covers are for aesthetics or "looks" only. No
protection is provided.
> Protection film protects your lights from small road debris, UV damage,
sand and weather.
> Tint & Blackout film is 3 mil (.0042") thick and protection film is 15
mil or (.021") thick.
> Protection film is five times thicker and more difficult to apply, heat
is required.
> Tint and Protection covers are adhesive backed, Blackout covers are
static cling.
> Tint and Protection Tail Light covers can be removed, but can not be
reapplied.
> Blackout Tail Light covers can be removed and reapplied any time.
What Tail Light Cover application

air bubbles and aide in heat conforming the light.
> Low friction sleeves prevent "squeegee scratches."

How much does it cost to have my
Tail Light covers professionally installed?
The cost of tinted Tail Light covers depends on the film being used and the vehicle being
applied to. In general, the cost is $120 - $150 for Tail Light
cover installation
and even greater for protection film installation.
Note: If you are purchasing this kit and plan on
having a professional installer apply the tint, you will generally not
save money. Installers profit is derived from the labor, not the
film costs and it is in their best interest to have as many billable
labor hours as possible. These kits are designed for the do-it-yourself
minded individual, if you plan on having this kit installed
professionally we recommend you purchase their film and installation
service.
Do you offer a warranty?
We offer a limited warranty of 3 years. When installed by the DIY
individual we warranty that the Tail Light cover will not fade, turn
purple or change color. When professionally installed we guarantee
that the cover to not fade, peel, crack, bubble or turn purple when
installed by a licensed professional.
